Koh Toch Island

Best Attractions on Koh Rong Island

Koh Rong Island might seem small and slightly underdeveloped, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of attractions for visitors to enjoy.  As soon as people arrive on this island, they will find themselves quite busy, as they try to determine what they should do first. Here are the best attractions on Koh Rong Island:

Jungle Zoo

This little zoo is a fascinating place where everyone can learn about the exotic animals that live within the region.  Guests will find themselves being welcomed to the zoo with open arms by the owner and then given a tour of the gardens and the animals.  A few of the animals that can be found there include birds, butterflies, a monitor lizard, civets, and a bat.

Sok San Waterfall

Anyone that chooses to hike to the Sok San Waterfall will be rewarded by mesmerizing views as well as a serene setting.  The waterfall does dry up during certain times of the year, which is why people are encouraged to visit it after the rainy season has ended.  Everyone can enjoy the cool water in the plunge pool at the bottom, and the bar next to the pool is a great place to grab a drink.

Koh Rong Blob Jump

The Blog Jump is a massive inflatable that can be found next to the wooden pier near Sok San Beach.  A person sits on the end of the inflatable and another person will jump onto the other end to send the person who is sitting high up into the air and the water.  This is a very active activity, and everyone is guaranteed to get wet when they participate.

Koh Toch Island

This island can be found directly across from Koh Toch Beach and it is the perfect attraction to visit via kayak.  There is not much on the island other than a pagoda, a few monks, and a walking trail.  However, it is a great place to spend a few hours and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Koh Toch Island

Beside Koh Rong beaches, there are lot of things to do in the island. Travelers should try to plan their itinerary prior to their arrival on Koh Rong Island, or they may find themselves unsure of where to begin their adventures.
