Should the tourist happen to be in Santorini in summer, they will be overwhelmed by a series of religious events, among which the Festival of Episkopi in Mesa Gonia is the most famous.
One may just as well add on the list the Festival of Profitis Ilias, the Festival of Metamorfosi Sotiros or of Virgin Mary. But Santorini is also the host of cultural and musical events, such as the Santorini Jazz Festival, the “Ifaisteia” Festival or the International Music Festival.
